[Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion]Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion on Switch and Steam later in April

Publisher Graffiti Games and developer Snoozy Kazoo have announced an April 22, 2021 release date for Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion on Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. Basically, the game seems to be like top-down The Legend of Zelda, except you’re a cute trouble-making turnip whose been evicted from his house for not paying taxes and needs to pay off a massive debt to Mayor Onion. You’ll be using gardening tools to “solve plantastic puzzles” while meeting other fruit and vegetable people and battling “ferocious animals both big and small.” Apparently, there’s even a corruption plot to root out. (But isn’t Turnip Boy the corrupt one?)

Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion on Switch and PC will offer the following features:

A thrilling, single-player adventure full of tax evasion, petty crimes and more.

Dungeons full of puzzles, enemies and rare treasures to pay back your debt.

Battle massive beasts that terrorize the garden community.

Grow and harvest plants to aid in your journey.

A large cast of quirky food-based characters, all with their own stories and problems.

Tons of tax documents to rip up, allowing you to erase your paper trail and potentially destroy the government.

Earn collectible hats and alternate between which one to wear.

Multiple endings based on how effectively you commit tax evasion.

A deep history of the world and how it became what it is.

Vegetables and tax evasion are an odd combo to so fervently mash together, so props to Snoozy Kazoo for having a clear and bizarre vision. Are you on board to break the law in Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion on Switch on its release date later this month?
